Put Xaghra more prominent on the World Map, especially in relation to World Heritage Sites.

Do due pressure on the relative departments/entities for the restoration of historical places in Xaghra.

Work hand in hand with parents and education department to enhance the education and knowledge of all sectors of the Local Inhabitants.

Promote and organize cultural events such as Vittoria Fest, Christmas Concert and Carnival.

Help the Local Community especially the Non Governmental Organisations, such as Victory Band Club, Football Club, Youth Center and Nazzarenu & San Anton Community.

Upgrade Xaghra’s appearance by finalizing the Xaghra Square Project, developing belvederes, help farmers in rural regeneration, carrying out rehabilitation projects on Valleys and footpaths while encouraging more vineyards, Citrus Groves, Olive Trees and indigenous trees. Install street lighting wherever possible and required, complete all streets with tarmac and mount pavement wherever needed. Ramla Bay is to be more accessible and cleaner and all the heritage sites at Ramla are to be clearly indicated and if possible pictures of buried sites installed on site.

The Board at the entrance of Xaghra is to include pictures of the Historical Sites and Places of Interest found in Xaghra.

Existing Sports facilities are to be upgraded, possibly by setting up football ground with synthetic turf and new and modern dressing rooms. Public and Private Partnership is being considered.

Town Twinning is to be given its due importance, especially vis-à-vis the bad relationship resulting from the fact that the

Xaghra Local Council did not keep its promise when it was due to sign the twinning last May. Council is to re-establish the friendship.

We are to do our outmost to manage to get as much funds as possible from the European Union.
