During her professional career, Maria was successful and acquired certificates in various courses namely in Public Administration, Leadership and Middle Management, Marketing, Public Speaking, Webcare Design and Computer Studies.

She has been working with Telemalta/Maltacom/GO for 35 years where she occupied various managerial positions namely those of a Senior Principal, Brand Manager and the most recent one Retail Area Manager for Gozo.

Besides Maltese she speaks English, Italian and Spanish.

Currently:

Involved in various communities and religious activities in our village, namely:

-         Member of the Liturgical Group which organizes the main religious celebrations in church.

-         Member of the Xaghra Parish Council

-         Member of a Eucharistic Community

Hobbies:

Her most favourite hobby is cooking and is interested in various cuisines of different countries.

She has at heart the Environment, History of Xaghra and Culture.
