I still recall very vividly the times when Pope John Paul the second came to Malta. I had taken my children to see the Pope at vantage points each time that we had the opportunity of seeing a Pope visiting our islands. Today, I thank God that I may again get another chance of witnessing another Pope visiting Malta. I welcome Pope Benedict the 16th and pray the Lord that He may Guard him and Guide him in the evangelision mission that he brings with him ...I am looking forward to hear Holy Mass on the Granaries tomorrow morning....and I want to be there and recite the prayers with the Holy Father...so that I may yet again remember in future years such a wondeful experience. sincere regards George Stagno Navarra This would be the third time that I can witness a visit to Malta by a PONTIFF.
